Our quaint mountain town has turned into a beautiful winter wonderland. Come stay with us this winter, we promise it will be a memorable one.

WHAT TO KNOW WHEN YOU VISIT BRECKENRIDGE THIS WINTER

As things constantly change, get the latest info from our public health orders prior to your trip.

LODGING GATHERING SIZE HAS BEEN REDUCED

We hope you’re as excited about your trip to Breckenridge as we are to host you. Per Colorado Public Health Order, Summit County is currently under Level Orange restrictions which limits vacation rental occupancy to no more than 10 people from no more than 2 households. This order took effect January 4th and is currently scheduled to expire April 30th.

We are currently reaching out to and working with guests who hold reservations before April 30th to confirm that they are in accordance with these guidelines. Options include helping to split your party into multiple properties (if available), moving current reservations or offering full refunds.

If you are arriving after April 30th, then our standard 60-day cancellation applies.  There are no refunds for cancellations inside of 60 days from arrival.  If the current health order is amended or extended in such a way that restricts your reservation, we will reach out to you to discuss each option. Please hold tight and we’ll be in touch with updates and options.

If you have any questions regarding your existing reservation, please email us and we will respond as quickly as possible.

LODGING SAFETY GUIDELINES HAVE BEEN ENHANCED

For your safety and the safety of our Team, we will not be coming to your property for any reason, unless there is a property emergency. All check-ins will happen remotely – either via electronic access onsite or in some cases, by picking up a contactless key package at our local lockbox.

At VisitBreck, we follow all best practices when it comes to cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing our properties whether we’re in a pandemic or not. Click here to read some of the procedures we are following.

Common areas in rental complexes such as hot tubs, pools and saunas may be closed or on a reservation-based system to promote social distancing.

SHOP FOR GROCERIES AHEAD OF TIME

With the temporary closure of all indoor dining and capacity limits at our grocery stores, guests should pre-shop for groceries before coming to Breckenridge. This will ensure that they have everything they need, and we do not run into any food shortages in town. Second, if guests MUST food shop locally, we ask that they designate one or two members of their party to shop for the group. We need to ensure that everyone in Breckenridge has an opportunity to grocery shop.

YOUR FAVORITE RESTAURANTS ARE OPEN, SUPPORT THEM BY ORDERING TO-GO OR DINE-IN AT 50% CAPACITY

Many restaurants are now allowing dine-in service at 50% capacity! You can still order To-Go and curbside pickup if you’d rather and we ask guests to support our local restaurants! We have incredible dining options in town that are able to provide convenient and delicious take out. For a list of restaurants providing take out or delivery, visit www.onebreckenridge.com.

SHOP AND SUPPORT LOCAL STORES & BOUTIQUES

Your favorite Breckenridge shops are still open and are operating at 50 percent of their posted occupancy limit. Some offer enhanced options for curbside pickup, delivery and dedicated service hours for seniors and at-risk individuals.

BRECKENRIDGE SKI RESORT IS OPEN

Breckenridge Ski Resort is open for pass holders! Day lift tickets are on sale.

The resort is putting precautions in place to allow for physical distancing, as well as operating gondolas, ski school and on-mountain dining in a way that ensures a safe and healthy experience for all visitors. Learn more about what’s new at the mountain here.

BUY YOUR EPIC PASS AHEAD OF TIME

Whether you want to invest in a full season pass or choose an increment between 1 and 7 days, purchase your Epic Pass online before your trip. Not only is this often a less expensive option than waiting until the last minute, day-of lift tickets won’t even be available for purchase until after December 8.

Buying your pass online in advance will also allow you to take advantage of the complementary Epic Coverage, designed to give you the peace of mind you need to get back on the slopes.

YOU CAN RESERVE DAYS ON THE MOUNTAIN

The resort says they don’t anticipate having issues with maxing out capacity on most days, but buy your pass and log on early to make sure you get the dates you’re planning to ski. Right now, if you’re a pass holder, you have…

  • Exclusive early season access as resorts open for the season (Nov. 6 – Dec. 7)
  • Up to 7 Priority Reservation Days across all resorts during the core season (Dec. 8 – April 4)
  • As many week-of reservations as your pass type and availability allow

THE TOWN IS OFFERING MORE OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

The town of Breckenridge and the town of Frisco are working hard to offer other non-skiing activities that are safe for our visitors and locals. Some ideas include more sledding locations and options, build your own snowman competitions and a virtual fat-tire bike race series.

Other activities such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, tubing at the Frisco Fun Park, dog sledding, dinner sleigh rides, fly fishing and more are still available. Make sure to make a reservation beforehand, if needed!
