THE ACTIVE FAMILY
Hike Baker’s Tank Trail
Distance: Up to 5.1 miles | Open year-round
A walkable or bike-able dirt road through pines and aspens with the best views of Breckenridge and the Ten Mile Range. The trail is relatively flat and is accessible year-round. This is a must-hike trail on your Breckenridge adventure!
Hit the Pump Track at the Wellington Bike Park
This kid-friendly bike park includes a strider track, large pump track, three flow trails and a skills area with jump features. Free to the public, riders should always have a clear understanding of their ability level and always wear protective gear, including a helmet.
Epic Discovery
Take the BreckConnect Gondola up to the base of Peak 8 for family fun and adventure! Ride through the trees on the Gold Runner Coaster and Alpine Slides. Then, take the Colorado Superchair up to Alpine Camp for beautiful hiking trails, the Alpineer Challenge Course, the Expedition Zipline Tour and more! Opens June 14.

Can you solve riddles, uncover clues and crack codes to escape the Breckenridge Escape Room in time? Bring your family to solve problems and race the clock! All groups range in size from 2-8 and all games are 60 minutes. Good luck!

Blend your own wine
Spend an evening becoming a winemaker at the Continental Divide Winery! Taste four red varietals, craft your own custom blend then bottle, cork and label your own wine creation. This unique experience is perfect for friends or family, with sessions up to 14 guests. While your sipping on your blend, order a charcuterie board from The Cheese Shop across the plaza.
Come for a wine festival
Breckenridge is known for its summer festivals and events. And the wine festivals are two of my favorites. Take in the stunning views while sipping on your favorite vintage. These festivals offer a mix of wines from around the world paired with delicious bites to eat. Join us July 26-28 for the Breckenridge Food + Wine or September 12-25 for the Breckenridge Wine Classic.

Aurum
Head to Aurum Food + Wine for a modern, yet relaxed and casual dining experience. Happy hour is from 4-6 pm daily includes half-off menu items, wines by the glass, $3 draft beers and $7 classic cocktails. Try the Hamachi Crudo & Ahi Tartare…it’s amazing. To drink? The Bees Knees!

A perfect option for large groups, families and healthy food enthusiasts alike. Clean ingredients. Tasty dishes. Pure Kitchen is an upscale, healthy dining experience; from the food served to the warm atmosphere. You can taste the authenticity and uniqueness in every dish since they have carefully crafted their menu. Try the Duck Confit, the Quinoa + Black Bean Burger, or really anything. It’s all delicious!
THE GIRLS TRIP
SUP yoga
Gather all your ladies and join Meta Yoga Studio on Maggie Pond for stand-up paddle board yoga. Step out of your comfort zone for a fun, challenging and relaxing experience on the water.
Boat around on Lake Dillon
The full-service marina offers pontoon and kayak rentals, boat tours, and stand-up paddle boards. Make sure to stop by the Island Bar and Grill in Frisco or the Tiki Bar in Dillon for a bite to eat, some drinks and some live music.

THE GUYS TRIP
Hike Mowhawk Lakes
Distance: 8.6 miles round-trip
A stunning hike that climbs up to gorgeous lakes and historic ruins. It’s equal parts challenging and do-able for you and your friends. An absolute must-do in the summer months.
Take a bike and brewery tour
On the Ridden bike and brewery tour, ride around Breckenridge, discovering iconic locations and historical landmarks on a fat tire bike. Ride down the Blue River Rec Center path to Broken Compass and the Distillery for craft beer and spirits tastings.
Play a round of golf at 9000ft
Experience a 27-hole course with beautiful mountain views. The clubhouse sits at an elevation of 9,324 feet, which allows you to hit the ball farther and straighter! Playing golf in Breck also offers temperatures that make you forget about the heat of the summer.
THE ADVENTUROUS COUPLE
Bike Sallie Barber Mine
Distance: 9.5 miles
Steady climbs featuring beautiful views. The trail guides you towards the historic Sallie Barber mine, where remnants of the abandoned mine still stands.
White water rafting
The Breckenridge area has some of the best whitewater rafting in the country, with great options for beginners or adrenaline junkies. Whether it’s a scenic trip down Browns Canyon or a more thrilling whitewater pursuit down The Numbers, there is something for everyone!
Watch the sunset
Nothing beats a Breckenridge sunset. Head up Boreas Pass for the best view of the Ten Mile Range. You can watch right from the road pull-off or head further up to Boreas Pass Trail for an even better view. It’s truly breathtaking!
