You are here

Just a quick drive outside of Breckenridge, you'll find the charming neighboring town of Frisco. With a pedestrian-only Main Street this summer expanding outdoor seating and boutiques, the Frisco Marina at Lake Dillon, and more, it's a great place to spend a day or make it your home base for the entire vacation.

Here are some things to do on Frisco Main Street...

1. Walk the Pedestrian-Only Main Street (summer only)

Things to do on Frisco Main Street

This summer, Main Street in Frisco has blocked traffic from 2nd to 5th avenue, leaving it open to pedestrians and cyclists to enjoy expanded outdoor restaurant seating, local shopping boutiques, ice cream parlors, and more.

2. Enjoy Local Cuisine

Frisco's restaurants have options for every taste. Get your Italian fix at Greco's Pastaria, enjoy a burger at Ollie's Pub & Grub, have the freshest sushi at Kemosabe, satisfy your appetite with beer and sausage at Ein Prosit, or find something for everyone with classic American dishes at The Uptown On Main, to name a few.

3. Support Local Shops

Explore our local boutiques to find fun souvenirs, treasures, clothing, jewelry, and everything in between. Some of our favorites include Frisco Emporium, Rivers Clothing Company, and The Flying Crane.

4. Visit Frisco's Historic Park & Museum

There’s no set entrance or exit to the historic park, and you’re free to explore at your leisure. The Frisco Schoolhouse Museum contains artifacts, exhibits, and photographs that tell the stories of Frisco’s past and reflect the Summit County philosophy of embracing history while also connecting it to our lives today.

Pro Tip: Bring quarters to fully experience our crown jewel, the extensive train diorama in the Schoolhouse Museum.

5. Experience a Concert in the Park

Every Thursday at 5:30 PM, Frisco offers their Concert in the Park series. Bring your own blanket, chairs, and even your dog if you'd like (on-leash, please)! Snack and beverage sales are available and benefit a different local non-profit organization at each concert.

6. Get on the Water from the Frisco Bay Marina

Located at the eastern end of Main Street, the Frisco Bay Marina is where lake life meets the charming mountain town. With kayak, stand-up paddleboard, fishing boat, and pontoon rentals available, there are plenty of ways to explore the stunning views Lake Dillon offers.

Whether you're visiting for the day, or want to stay in town, you'll love what Frisco Main Street has to offer.
