Riverwalk Center
Just in town, aspens line Main Street and the Riverwalk Center. With surrounding mountain views, relax or stroll riverside among the golden fall colors.
French Gulch to Sallie Barber Mine
Hike or bike the trails of French Gulch this autumn. Follow the road north to the Sallie Barber Mine trailhead. This scenic trail is full of golden aspens, and is great for beginners! The original mining equipment remnants make this trail unique and looks beautiful among the fall colors.
Blue Lakes Road
Drive, hike or bike this scenic dirt road near Quandary Trailhead, south of town. Blue Lakes offers stunning mountain views, lakes, rivers, waterfalls and sometimes mountain goats! The fall colors are gorgeous this time of year. Don’t miss the sunset, when the the valley glows and reflects on the serene lower lake.
Aspen Alley
This trail lives up to it’s name. It’s a must visit for fall foliage viewing! Aspen Alley is an easy hike, very close to town and has dense aspen groves with gorgeous views of the ski resort.
