The Wagon Wheel Retreat felt like a home away from home during our trip to Breckenridge. The location couldn't be more convenient to town--it is about a 2 minute drive to the famous Blue Moose Cafe and to main street where we loved I Scream Gelato, Erik's underground for pizza and wings, and Crepes a la carte (be ready to wait!). It is about a 5 minute drive (depending on traffic) to the City Market. The house has incredible views of the ski mountains from every story. There was plenty of space for our 2 families of 4 to have space to relax and lots of sleeping options. The primary suite is private and so is the bottom floor queen room with it's own bathroom and sitting area. The kids loved the upstairs rooms and landing area to hang out. The kitchen is huge and provided a perfect space to prepare meals. The hot tub was a lot of fun and the garage and gear storage area was very helpful during the snow storm. Also loved the provided humidifiers in the bedrooms. The management company was very communicative and helpful (they replaced a broken toaster immediately). Would love to return!

House was spacious, private with a beautiful view. Located in Blue River just south of Breck. Pros of house were: kitchen was great! 2 sinks, 2 dishwashers, lots of seating for our party of 8, used daily with loads of dishes, stemware, and flatware, never ran out. Lots of space to spread out with 2 dens, one for adults and one for kids. Bedrooms were good size and attached baths were fantastic with extra 1/2 bath on main. Hot tub awesome, located on the main level deck area. Garage and ski storage area was convenient. Cons: NO working fireplace (knew that upon rental as it states in property description), hot tub was not hot 1st day (drained/refilled between mini fridge in 2nd den (although one was in pictures), On free-ride bus route, but not Breck-Connect, so times were limited. No tinfoil, plastic wrap or sandwich bags (which are not provided after inquiry), tight to turn around in driveway with our large vehicle.

Our group booked this ski chalet for our annual ski trip (6 guests). This was an impressively large house spread over 3 floors with a well designed kitchen open to the main floor. The chalet met 100% of our requirements. It is a very quick ~3min drive to Breckenridge ski hill/downtown and you can avoid the Denver traffic from the north.

The property management group took great care to ensure our stay was hassle-free prior to and during our stay.
The driveway was ploughed early when required and the hot tub was large and well maintained (and gets sunsets over Breckenridge mountain).

There is also a free shuttle from the bottom of the road (2-3 min walk) if anyone is looking to catch first tracks if your group has slow starts in the morning.

We would stay again without question.

The house was beautiful and perfect for our family of 8. Very clean, plenty of room to spread out and the kitchen was a dream. Everything we needed for cooking. The views were perfect and the hot tub on the deck was a bonus. Highly recommend staying here. Felt like home!!

Beautiful, spotless home with incredible views of the mountains. It was the perfect place for our multi-generational family holiday. There were 7 of us - grandparents (us) stayed in the lower level 'mother-in-law' suite with mountain views, and my daughter and her family of five stayed on the upper two levels, also with stunning mountain views. The huge gourmet kitchen was perfect for family meals, and the large open living area with amazing views of the mountains was perfect for game nights. Plus, it's only about a short drive from town, yet felt like we had complete privacy away from downtown Breck. The hot tub on the deck was an added bonus, also with views of the mountains that take your breath away!

Idyllic Mountain Retreat

I spent a week alone at the house in June after my travel partners got COVID. I was disappointed at first, but this trip was good for the soul. It was an idyllic mountain retreat. nice home with priceless mountain views, and 2 minute drive from the shops and restaurants. Unwinding in the hottub with unobscured views of the peaks and forest was the perfect respite. Can't wait to go back - with friends and family next time.

Wow! Where do I start? That place is heavenly! It's a beautiful home in a quiet location, nestled on the side of a mountain about a mile from downtown Breck. My family of five visited for Christmas. From enjoying the snowfall while relaxing in the hot tub under the night sky, to the visit by a moose alongside the deck, to the world-class skiing minutes away - this was a magical vacation!The house layout is ideal for families, as the house is huge with open layout for common areas, the bedrooms and ensuites are spacious, there are nooks-and-crannies for one person to read, while another watches TV, while others play board games. Not to mention the proximity to town and skiing - Peak 9 lifts are about a 2-minute drive away, and gondolas for Peak 8 are about 3-minute drive away. We're already planning our next trip to Breck and will stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay with another family, there was plenty of room for all of us. The house is beautiful, gorgeously decorated, so spacious and a truly fabulous kitchen! It’s in a great location with stunning views. We simply loved the Hot Tub, the Xbox for the kids, and the two dishwashers! We definitely recommend this place!
