Breckenridge fly fishing is some of the most exciting and memorable fly-fishing the Rocky Mountains have to offer. Breckenridge is home to some of the best, and most abundant, fishing you’ll find anywhere — not to mention the incredible natural beauty that surrounds it all. Crystal clear waters of the Blue River contain healthy Rainbow Trout, fat Browns and an occasional native Cutthroat Trout. The rivers flow ice-free all year and you can even take a guided tour. It’s not every day you have the chance to fish gold medal waters!
Here are some of our favorite Breckenridge fly fishing locations…
Blue River – downtown Breckenridge
Tenmile Creek – in between Copper Mountain and Frisco
Lake Dillon – on your way to Breckenridge from Frisco
Swan River – north of Breckenridge near the Breck golf course
