Breckenridge’s Día de Muertos Festival is a colorful, family-friendly celebration honoring loved ones who have passed. This year’s event expands to recognize the many diverse Latin American cultures represented throughout the Summit County community.

Blue River Plaza and the Arts District will feature a community ofrenda, large-scale calaveras, papel picado, and other immersive installations. The Festival will kick off on Friday, October 17th with the opening reception and artist talk. This reception will be followed by an Aztec Dance performance and a candlelight vigil.

October 18th will include art, music, dancing, performances by local musicians and dance groups, workshops, face painting, and an art market.
