Here are some of our favorite things to do off the slopes...
Après Slope-Side
If you don't ski, you can still experience the Breckenridge slopes by sitting slope side! Take the gondola up and enjoy a drink and meal at the base of Peak 7, 8, or 9. With spring skiing around the corner, enjoy watching the skiers and snowboarders cruise down the mountain or take in views from the top. Try Snowshoeing & Nordic Skiing
Suitable for all levels, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing is a great addition to any winter vacation. The Gold Run Nordic Center in Breckenridge has more than 12 groomed miles of skating and classic trails, as well as backcountry touring and snowshoe trails. You can rent all of your equipment and head out into nature. When you're done, enjoy a warm hot chocolate inside!
Take a Scenic Drive
It's no surprise that Breckenridge offers breathtaking views no matter which direction you're looking in. Take your (recommended) 4WD and tour some of Breckenridge's most scenic roads! Here are a few paths you might want to add to your list: Swan Mountain Road (which offers a trail loop for hiking), Loveland Pass (which offers parking and hiking), and Boreas Pass (which offers an in and out hiking trail).
