2019 Breck Spring Fever

2019 Breck Spring Fever

I love Breck because of the easy access to backcountry trails and the high alpine.

It’s hard to beat springtime in Breckenridge. The skies are blue, the snow is soft, and the sun lingers just a bit longer each evening. It’s the perfect time to be in the mountains. Plenty of snow remains at the resort. Only instead of battling those sub-freezing January temps, you can enjoy warm days on the slopes and après on sunny decks.

But don’t let all that sunshine fool you; springtime in Summit County really is the best of both worlds. March and April are known to bring some of the biggest storms of the season, so don’t put the powder skis away just yet! Some of the deepest powder days may have yet to come, and the best part is that they’ll likely be followed by more warm and sunny days. You can have your snow, and sunshine, too!

Spring Snow
Spring is also the perfect time to get out and enjoy all that Downtown Breckenridge has to offer. Browse Main Street for treats and souvenirs. Sip a cold beer on a patio with mountain views. Or find yourself at one of Breck’s many restaurants with a fresh menu for spring.

The town is as lively as ever this time of year with several events going on throughout the end of the season. Whether you’re looking for family fun with the kids or a night out with friends, springtime in Breckenridge has something to offer for everyone.
